• Modelling intelligent user guidance

  In the project "Generierung intelligenter Bedienoberflächen" (English: Generation of Intelligent User Interfaces) it is investigated how methods known from compiler construction can be used to

  • generate user interfaces of interactive applications automatically and
  • generate a user guidance component automatically that supports the user while working with interactive applications.

  In the field of User Guidance here the system PLUG-IN (Plan-Based User Guidance for Intelligent Navigation) is being developed. It supports the user with context-sensitive help texts and animation sequences that are generated by PLUG-IN on the fly.
